We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or others. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money.

5.Cookies and advertising

We use cookies to keep your cart and checkout working, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used and measure our advertising. Google’s advertising tags help us see which ads lead to purchases.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although the cart and checkout may not work without them. You can manage how Google personalizes ads at adssettings.google.com.

6.Emails we send

We send transactional emails about your order, shipping, returns and warranty claims. If you enter your email at checkout but don’t complete your order, we may send up to three reminder emails about the items in your cart. To stop reminder emails, follow the instructions in the email or write to us at [email protected].

7.How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax and warranty purposes. Other information is kept only as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected for, then deleted.

8.How we protect it

The site uses encrypted HTTPS connections, payments are handled by Stripe’s PCI-compliant systems and access to order information is limited to the people who need it to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

9.Your rights and choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time by emailing [email protected]. Depending on your state, including California, Virginia, Colorado and others with privacy laws, you may also have the right to know what we collect, to obtain a copy and to opt out of targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and may keep information we are required to retain by law.

10.Children

GroundWatt is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
