Add up the running watts of everything you want to power at the same time, then allow for the extra starting watts of anything with a motor, such as a refrigerator, sump pump or air conditioner. Every product page lists the starting and running watts. Email us your list and we will help you choose.

Inverter generators produce clean, stable power that is safe for laptops, phones and other sensitive electronics and they run quieter and more efficiently. Conventional portable generators give you more watts for the money, which suits home backup and job sites.

Only through a transfer switch or interlock installed by a licensed electrician. Never back-feed a generator through a wall outlet. Home standby generators, such as the Generac models we carry, include a transfer switch and must be installed by licensed professionals.

Never run a gas generator indoors, in a garage or near windows, doors or vents: exhaust contains carbon monoxide. Battery power stations from EcoFlow and EGO have no fuel or fumes and are safe to use indoors.

Generators ship without fuel. Some models include engine oil; the product page and the manual list what is included and what to add before the first start.

Most don’t. The Mammotion, Navimow and Husqvarna EPOS models (Automower® iQ series and CEORA®) use RTK satellite, LiDAR or vision positioning instead of a perimeter wire: you map the lawn and set zones and schedules in the manufacturer’s app. The Husqvarna Automower® 435X AWD works with a boundary wire around the lawn edge. Each product page says which system it uses.

Each product page lists the lawn size, cutting width and runtime. Robot mowers are rated by lawn area, from 1/4 acre up to 6 acres, and cordless mowers by acreage per charge.

Kits include batteries and a charger; tool-only listings do not. The Included line in each product’s specifications shows exactly what is in the box.

Sheds travel by guaranteed LTL freight, generators over 150 lb, yard equipment and garden fountains by expedited LTL freight, to your curb or driveway. Lawn mowers, power stations and portable generators come by UPS Ground or FedEx Ground to your door. Every option is free and arrives within 2–5 business days. See shipping and delivery.

No. Freight is delivered to your curb or driveway and drivers are not required to carry items onto your property, so please have someone available to help with the heavier boxes.

Most sheds ship flat-packed and need assembly with common household tools. Times and tools vary by model and are listed in the included instructions.

We may not be able to accept an assembled shed, so please contact us before assembly if you have any doubt about its size or fit.

You have 30 days from delivery to return an unused item in its original packaging for a full refund. See our returns policy.

We do. Return shipping is free and there is no restocking fee. Large items like sheds are collected by a free freight pickup.

Within 5–7 business days of the item arriving back at our warehouse, to your original payment method. Your bank may take a few extra days to show it.
