The all-new DuroStar DS13000E is a workhorse powered by a 500cc OHV Engine. With 10,500 watts of running power and the ability to surge up to 13,000 watts, this generator can power household essentials such as lights, small and large appliances, and your home’s central A/C system. The fully loaded power panel features multiple outlets including 2 120V GFCI protected household outlets. Also on the power panel are individual breakers to prevent overloading and keep everything safe.

Can I connect this generator to my house?
Only through a transfer switch or an interlock kit installed by a licensed electrician. Never plug a generator into a wall outlet: it can back-feed the utility line and endanger line workers. Connecting safely.
What can it run at the same time?
Use the What it can run planner above: tick your appliances and it checks both the running load and the start-up surge against this generator.
Does it ship with oil?
It depends on the manufacturer. If oil is included it is listed under What’s in the box; otherwise use the grade given in the owner’s manual before the first start.
Can I use it in the rain?
Not uncovered. Run it on a dry surface under an open, canopy-like cover, at least 20 feet from doors, windows and vents, and never in a garage.
Can it be shipped to California?
Some generators are not certified for sale in California (not CARB compliant). If the description says this model is not for sale in California, we cannot ship it to a California address.
How will it be delivered?
Free, by UPS or FedEx Ground to your door, usually within 2–5 business days after it ships. Tracking is emailed as soon as it ships.
What if it arrives damaged?
Photograph it and email us within 48 hours of delivery. We replace or refund damaged items at no cost to you.
